Hot dip galvanized steel is steel coated with pure zinc or a zinc alloy, giving it superior corrosion resistance. The coated surface is characterized by a crystalline pattern known as spangles. Thanks to its better surface finish and excellent corrosion resistance, it is widely used in atmospheric environments, and as bare (natural finish) product across many segments.
